We're not just an everyday big red double decker bus...

As if the heated open air top deck, the 4 plasma screens, CDJs & Decks with a 5k PA, a cow hide triple bed, two silver Chesterfield sofas, and one unique Bubblebench, and (of course) the on-board four person hot tub wasn't enough four wheeled fun...

We've the Bubblebar, with on tap bubbles (of course!), cocktails, and more, coming complete with a 100 m sq private Garden, a roster of the finest DJs, late opening, witty banter and endless hospitality.

All you have to do is conduct yourself in a manner becoming...

Available for private hire, the world’s first fully mobile membership club works equally well as

- a Backstage Bar, with conductors concocting any cocktail you can cope with,

- an Alternative Stage, with DJs or a 5 piece band playing to groupies in the hot tub and the bar flies below,

- a Luxury Camper ‘Van’, complete with a triple bed, and it’s own loo, or

- a Promo Vehicle, able to promote your brand, anywhere, anytime.

Maiden Voyage...

Bliss. Fields. Given we set out to provide exactly that feeling in precisely that environment, it was a happy day when good friend of the Bus, Matt, agreed that this small (but perfectly formed) shindig should provide us with our virgin outing.

Take your every day London bus...

In 2005, Muttley had approached a certain TV channel with his idea to pimp a new ride, the Leyland Olympian bus he’d just acquired, and to take it on a grand European tour, to Italy, and that years Isle of MTV Festival.

How it all began...

It was in December 2008 that Mr & Mrs Bus (as they would become known) traipsed over to Shepherds Bush for an interesting sounding Christmas party, featuring ‘Saucy’ Santas and ‘Naughty’ Nymphs… well: with a theme like that, you would go, wouldn’t you?

Meet the Crew

Tom, Mr Bus.
Desperately clinging on to his youth (if you believe his mother), or finally doing something worthwhile (his father), Tom looks after the general operation of the bus. He’ll usually be the one with a drink in his hand, sporting one of his favourite festival jumpers, all the while writing mental to-do lists as others put the graft in. Tom often has cold hands, and is most proud of his beard.

Caro, Mrs Bus.
There to do more than make the place look pretty (though she does that too), Caro takes care of how the bus looks, inside and out, on paper and in the flesh. She’ll be the one on the bed, but only so as she’s there to make sure you take your shoes off, or the one making the best – for which read strongest – drinks. Caro would like to ride on a star and light up the sky, but can't be arsed to rule the world.

Jasper, Crazy Baldhead.
Les Dennis to Tom and Caro’s Mr & Mrs Bus, Jasper’s the one that brings a degree of sense to the occasion, and without whom, there’d be no drink, no bar, and worst of all, no rope lights. Owner of the better of two beards, Jasper enjoys a hot tub more than is probably legal, and is on first name terms with most of New Zealand’s musicians. Jasper is an Aries, but thinks horoscopes are pointless.

Matt, Master Bus.
Without Matt, the bus wouldn’t move. As well as being the official driver, Matt brings his tins of WD40, socket spanner set, rubber bands, paper clips, and all round capabilities to any and all problems that the bus faces on the road, and the tub faces off it, before scrubbing up, donning a clean shirt and a bulls head, and getting stuck in behind the bar. Matt owns a Golf that sometimes works, and is a dab hand at Jenga.

Heather, Miss Bus.
Maker of the finest crew breakfasts, and voice of reason when bedtime arrives, Heather keeps us all going. Blessed with an endless love of catalogue shopping, and determined that her van, Tac, will one day join us in a field, Heather is living proof that you should never give up when there’s hope. And we hope she can get the wheels back on Tac. And the doors. And the roof. And the engine. And the…

Nettie, Resident Dinosaur Fancier.
There’s little that can said about Nettie that hasn’t already been invented, but suffice to say that until you’ve had your face licked by our own great Dane, you’ve not lived. Nettie is, rather than enjoys, a Rubiks Cube, and loves nothing more than simply hob-nobbing with the bus passengers. Except maybe hob nobs.
